Confucius Institute Celebrates Year of the Dragon Jan. 31
The Wenqin Performing Arts Group of Zhejiang University will perform at the UNH celebration.
The UNH Confucius Institute will celebrate the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Dragon – Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, with performances by the Wenqin Performing Arts Group of Zhejiang University.
The group from Hangzhou, China, will be part of a larger celebration that will include the ballet performance of The White-Haired Girl and two martial arts performances by Dai Haibin of Chengdu University.
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, in the Johnson Theater. The events are free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Email email@example.com to reserve your tickets.

Established in October 2010, the UNH Confucius Institute is a nonprofit educational institution housed in the College of Liberal Arts. A partnership between Chengdu University in Sichuan Province, China, and UNH, the institute offers a wide array of Chinese language and culture courses at UNH.
