Faculty and Staff: Where You Can Park; Permit Renewal Forms

An updated map showing where faculty and staff can park can be found on the UNH Transportation Website. Employee lots are highlighted in yellow.
This is a reminder that part Lot H has been reassigned to visitor parking, and Strafford Lot (formerly student resident and New England Center parking) is now faculty and staff parking. All new and existing faculty/staff and visitor designations in this area still fall within a five to 10 minute walk of core campus destinations.
Parking permit renewal forms and a reminder that this year’s fee will be paid through payroll deductions have been mailed to faculty and staff who currently hold a valid permit. UNH Transportation asks that employees check the information (name, address, permit number, vehicle information) and notify the office of any changes.
Outstanding parking tickets or fines must be paid in full by Sept. 1 to receive a new permit.
Anyone who has had a permit and doesn’t receive a renew notice should contact Transportation Services at 2-1010. It is the employee’s responsibility to make sure the permit gets renewed. To be able to park legally on campus after Sept. 1, the permit must be renewed.
Employees use the same permit year to year; there isn’t a new one issued with renewal.
UNH has approximately 8,600 permit holders.
Parking lots designated for faculty, staff and commuters require a permit Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meters are enforced during the same time period. Resident lots and reserved spaces are enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Call UNH Transportation Services at 2-1010 or visit www.unh.edu/transportation if you have any questions.
