Ellen Fitzpatrick on CSPAN Presenting "Letters to Jackie: Condolences from a Grieving Nation" in Dallas
May 5, 2010
History professor Ellen Fitzpatrick presents a collection of 250 condolence letters sent to Jacqueline Kennedy following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The author culled her selections from over 1.5 million letters that were sent to the former first lady in the first two years following the President's death and had been kept mostly untouched. Fitzpatrick presents her book at The 6th Floor Museum in Dallas.
