Nancy Kinner Testifies on Capitol Hill With Actor Kevin Costner

Nancy Kinner, co-director of the Coastal Response Research Center at UNH, testified before the U.S. House Committee on Science and Technology on the BP oil spill Wednesday, June 9, 2010. This was the second time Kinner testified on Capitol Hill about what is now the largest ever oil spill. The center develops new approaches to spill response and restoration through research and synthesis of information, and her expertise has been highly sought after by members of the national and international media as well as the federal government.
