Looking to have a family portrait done for Grandma this Christmas? Photographic Services can help you with that. Planning a trip aboard during the holiday break? Photographic Services can take your passport photo.
They also can print custom archival prints on a variety of papers. (Large format printing prices start at $7.50 p/square foot.) And if you have a piece of art that you would like photographed in either monitor resolution or high resolution, they can take care of that, too. If you only require monitor resolution for web or on-screen viewing, a 1024 x 768 image is $2. The minimum set up charge is $36. High resolution digital photography of art is $6 per exposure with a minimum set up fee of $36.

“People often think Photographic Services are for only UNH events but our services are for everybody in the UNH community,” says Mike Ross, manager of Photographic Services.
Photographic Services has three staff photographers who are available for on and off-campus appointments. Individual in-studio portraits are $36; prints are $6 each. The hourly rates for assignments are:

  • $38/hour during regular business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
  • $48/hour for weeknights
  • $80/hour for weekend
  • $30/hour in studio portraits for groups and departments, $6 per person.

Passport photographs can be made while you wait, 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday on Floor G, Dimond Library. (Call 2-2432 in advance to ensure staff is available.) Two color photographs for $10; additional sets are $5. Black and white available on request.

Currently only cash or checks are accepts. For an appointment call 2-2432 . For more information visit http://www.unh.edu/photo/
