Dining Services’ Great Chefs on Campus Series added two other-knowns to the list of guest chefs last week when President Mark Huddleston and his wife, Emma Bricker, joined Mary Ann Esposito in a cooking demonstration at Stillings Hall. The session was filmed with a live audience for a segment of Esposito’s television show, “Ciao Italia.”
Esposito is the author of 11 cookbooks and host of the long-running PBS cooking show.
Huddleston helped Esposito prepare farro, a wheat dish made with mushrooms and sausage. Bricker assisted in a dish using Esposito’s five favorite ingredients.
A UNH alum with a master's degree in food history, Esposito has taught in numerous cooking schools throughout Italy.
The Great Chefs series brings renowned chefs to campus to present cooking demos and work with the staff in Dining Services to make meals from their recipes. Past chefs have included Martin Yan and former White House chef Walter S. Scheib III.
