Passing: Barbara Forcier Former Alumni Employee

Barbara Edith (Libby) Forcier, 67, died Oct. 19, 2009, at her home in Durham. She had resided in Durham since 1982 and worked at UNH for more than 20 years. She was last employed in Alumni Affairs Administration.
She loved UNH sports, especially UNH Hockey. A graduate of Oyster River High School, she went on to attend UNH, where she received her bachelor's degree in music education.
Survivors include her three children, Lisa Hurley and her husband, Kenn, of Kingston, N.Y., Jennifer Forcier-Delgadillo of Raymond, and Geoffrey Forcier of Napa, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter St., Newmarket.
Burial will follow in Martin's Ferry Cemetery, Hooksett, N.H.
