Health Care Reform: A Community Dialogue, NH Style Oct. 22

A forum on healthcare reform with special guest Dr. Michael Fine, co-author of “The Nature of Health: How America Lost, and Can Regain, a Basic Human Value,” will take place Thursday, Oct.22, 2009, at 6 p.m. in the Memorial Union Building’s Granite State Room.
Bruce Mallory, professor of education, will facilitate. Panelists include Fine, managing director of Health Access Rhode Island; Tom Bunnell, director of Institute for Health, Law and Ethics, Franklin Pierce Law School; Stephen Bartels, geriatric psychiatrist, The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice; Ruth Sample, UNH professor of philosophy; Linda Wilson, a senior academic in the department of occupational therapy at the Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin, New Zealand, and a Fulbright senior scholar; and Steve Norton, executive director, N.H. Center for Public Policy Studies.
