The Office of Human Resources is hosting the 2009 Benefits/Services Fair Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the MUB’s Granite State Room from 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. There will be refreshments, raffles and give-aways throughout the day.
The annual event gives faculty and staff the chance to meet representatives from the university’s insurance carriers, vendors, businesses and campus units who offer special services to benefits-eligible employees. Every benefit option available will be represented in person or through printed materials. Human Resource representatives also will be on hand to answer questions.
Meanwhile, the 2010 USNH benefits open enrollment period begins Oct. 26 and runs through Nov. 6. All changes take effect Jan. 1, 2010. To enroll online go to http://www.myusnhbenefits.net/.
For faculty and staff not covered by a collective bargaining agreement, there will be no percentage increase in employee contributions to benefits January 1, 2010, and no plan design changes. Premiums are going up approximately nine percent. You may view the 2010 benefits rates online at http://usnh.edu/hr/benefits/2010-openenrollment/ratesheets.html.
Also taking place on Oct. 28 is the 2009 Wellness Fair featuring the Healthy Returns in the MUB, rooms 330/332 and 334/336. Advance registration is required for Healthy Returns. Go to www.harvardpilgrim.org/usnh. New and returning Healthy Returns participants may be eligible to receive a VISA gift card.
The 2010 USNH open enrollment newsletter and enrollment worksheets will be mailed beginning Oct.19 to benefits-eligible staff and faculty. For additional information about 2010 open enrollment, visit the Human Resources website at: www.unh.edu/hr.
