UNH Departments: Extend Your Faculty Expertise to Professionals in the Region

UNH Professional Development & Training (PD&T) is an office within the Graduate School whose mission is to provide training that enhances workforce skills and knowledge of professionals in the community and at organizations in New Hampshire and the surrounding region.
PD&T Training offered in various formats:
- One-day noncredit workshops, seminars and short-term programs throughout the year in Durham, Portsmouth, and Manchester
- Special conferences and institutes
- Customized training
PD&T will partner with your department to design and develop noncredit CEU offerings that showcase the knowledge and research accomplishments of your faculty.
In collaboration, PD&T will:
- Generate ideas for offerings for working professionals
- Design seminars or other formats for content delivery
- Develop and monitor planning timelines and budgets
- Research and develop targeted mailing/email lists based on intended audience
- Create and implement promotional campaigns
- Set up special web page to promote the event
- Conduct market research as necessary
- Coordinate with faculty members who will teach offerings
- Set up all logistical arrangements, including site, catering, materials, parking, etc.
- Set-up online registration and oversee enrollments
- Process income and expenses
- Provide or coordinate on-site management of the event
- Evaluate participant responses to training
- Award CEUs and certificates of completion
- Program profit-sharing arranged
