Summer Art Camp Classes Offered At The Museum Of Art

The Museum of Art at UNH is offering weeklong summer art classes for children Monday through Friday, August 3-7 and August 10-14, 2009.
Children in grades 4th-9th have a wide variety of classes to choose from and may sign up for morning (9 a.m.-noon) or afternoon sessions (1 p.m. - 4 pm) or both. The cost is $125 per session or $225 for two sessions during the same week.
Classes include the cost of basic materials. Lunch is not provided, but children are welcome to bring their lunches to enjoy in the Paul Creative Arts Center. Supervision is provided during the lunch hour. Pre-registration is required by July 10, 2009.
During the first week, morning classes for grades 4th–6th include: Introduction to Drawing with instructor Gretchen Woodman; Monotype Printing with instructor Michelle Munson; and Beginner Fiber Arts with instructor Tameson O’Brien.
Classes for grades 7th-9th include: Self-Portraits with instructor: Judy Krassowski; Color and Composition with instructor Elissa Von Letkemann; and Exploration in Watercolor Painting with instructor Mary Mojica.
During the afternoon session for 4th–6th grades, classes include: Painting with instructor Judy Krassowski, and Exploration in Watercolor Painting with instructor Mary Mojica. For 7th-9th grades, the classes are Exploring Color & Design with Monotypes with instructor Gretchen Woodman and Intermediate Fiber Arts with instructor Tameson O’Brien.
The class offered during the second week morning session for grades 4th-6th is Art Box with instructor: Kimberly Olson; and for grades 7th-9th, Working with Wire - 3D Forms & Jewelry with instructor Judy Krassowski. Offered in the afternoon session, for 4th-6th grade, is Interior Room Design for Kids, and the class offered for grades 7th-9th is Art Box with instructor Kimberly Olson.
