So, you know those raffle tickets you buy and to win you have to turn in the stub? Well, check your numbers because Human Resources has just announced the winners of the iPod nanos that were offered as prizes for completing the recent online workplace survey.
The four winning numbers are:
If you’re one of the lucky four, all you need to do is present documentation of your electronically generated number or raffle ticket stub to HR. Once the numbers have been confirmed, the winners will be announced in the Campus Journal. And for the rest of you, hang onto your numbers just in case all the winners don’t come forward, new numbers will be drawn.
“On behalf of the administration I would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who took the time to participate in the workplace survey,” says Sharon Demers, assistant vice president of Human Resources. “Your feedback will be important in our efforts to maintain our standing as an employer of choice and in making UNH and UNHM even better places to work.”
The online survey was launched Feb. 16 and remained open until March 7. Employees were asked to rate the university in 13 areas, including working conditions, communications, supervisors, relationships with coworkers, diversity and rewards/recognition.
A paper version, in English and Spanish, was also available for those who didn’t have access to computers.
BBA/McKnight Associates, an independent consultant that specializes in higher education, conducted the anonymous survey. Results are expected to be available this summer.
UNH will be able to organize data by employee type or by department and will be able to benchmark results against those of other higher education institutions. A summary of the results will be provided in FY10.
