Art-Base Literature Director to Present Work

Beth Olshansky, director of the Center for the Advancement of Art-Based Literacy at UNH has been chosen to present at the 2009 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Conference on Friday April 17, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.
Her presentation entitled, “Redefining the Three R’s: Reading, Writing, and ART-Investigations Into the Impact of Art-Based Literacy” will introduce participants to Picturing Writing: Fostering Literacy Through Art and Image-Making Within The Writing Process, two art-and-literature-based instructional models developed by Olshansky.
