Professor Presents Paper in Hong Kong

In June 2009, professor Stacia Sower, spoke at a neuroendodocrinology symposium held at the International Congress of Comparative Endocrinology in Hong Kong.
Sower presented a paper entitled “Molecular Evolution of the Reproductive Neuroendocrine Axis in Vertebrates” The paper represented contributions from graduate, staff and undergraduate students in her laboratory.
Sower also was reelected to the Council of the International Federation of Comparative Endocrinological Sciences, which represents several world-wide societies to promote, train and advance research in comparative endocrinology.
Sower is representative of the U.S. Comparative Endocrinologists and is currently serving as chair of the Division of Comparative Endocrinology of the American Society of Zoologists.
