Black Student Union Hosts Family Weekend Celebration April 3-5

The Black Student Union will host its second annual Family Weekend Celebration April 3-5 to champion and recognize the importance of family in the lives of black people, as well as other racial and ethnic groups within the Black diaspora (e.g. African American, African, Caribbean, Central and South American, etc.). Events are open to the public.
The goal of the weekend activities is to offer educational, informational and fun-filled activities for UNH students, their families and invited guests. This weekend of student and campus community programming is designed to create a more welcoming, inclusive and equitable community for those who live, work and study at UNH.
- Community Information Fair, Saturday, April 4, 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., MUB’s Rockingham Lounge
- Family Fun Day, Saturday, April 4, 2 p.m., MUB’s Entertainment Center, afternoon of games, prizes, and snacks
- Fashion Show: Sculpting the Art of Beauty, Saturday, April 4, at 6-8 p.m., Memorial Union Building Granite State Room. Tickets are on sale at the MUB Ticket Office (3rd floor) for $3 undergraduates, $5 all others.
Events are co-sponsored by the Black Student Union, the Student Activity Fee Committee, Connect Program, Office of Diversity Initiatives, Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, UNH Parent's Association, Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President, Office of the Vice President for Student and Academic Services, and Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
