UNH will host a presidential debate watching event with faculty members whose expertise is all things presidential politics Wednesday, Oct. 15, for the final presidential debate between Democratic Sen. Barack Obama and Republican Sen. John McCain.

The event begins at 8 p.m. in the MUB Theatre II. The event is free and open to the public.

Andy Smith, associate professor of political science and director of the UNH Survey Center, and Jennifer Borda, assistant professor of communication, will join New Hampshire political consultants Rich Killion and Steve Marchand for a pre-debate analysis prior to the start of the debate at 9 p.m. Following the 90-minute debate, which will focus on economic and domestic issues, the political experts will conduct a post-debate analysis.

The event is sponsored by the UNH Department of Political Science Department, The UNH Parent’s Association and The Washington Center for Internships at UNH.
