Dining Announces Summer Barbecues on the MUB Patio.
Weather permitting, UNH Dining will be serving a barbecue lunch from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. on the MUB patio (outside Union Court) on June 25, July 9, July 23
and
August 6. For $5.99, fit all the burgers, hot dogs, garden burgers, potato
salad, pasta salad and watermelon you can on your plate. Wash it all down with
icy cold lemonade (also included in price).
NE England Center Holiday Hours
The New England Center’s conference center and Acorns Restaurant,
Café & Lounge
will be closed from Friday, July 4 through Tuesday, July 8, reopening for lunch
at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9. The hotel will remain open through the
holiday week. Enjoy the holiday.

The 10th Annual Autism Summer Institute will take place Aug. 11 through Aug.
14 at Holloway Commons. Professionals who register by June 27 will receive
a discount rate of $349. After that date the cost is $399.

The institute takes place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to
3:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

of three or more qualify for the discounted group rate of $349 (subject to
verification).
Keynote presenters include Amanda Baggs, CarolAnn Edscorn, and Ros Blackburn.
The Institute on Disability and Autism National Committee (AutCom) Bookstore
will participant in this year’s conference. The IOD bookstore features
publications, information, and merchandise focused on strengthening communities
and ensuring full access, participation, and equal opportunity for all persons.

Same Streets, New Names
To move UNH to E-911 compliance and accommodate future campus growth, two
UNH streets
will be renamed effective July 1. A section of College Road from Mill Road
to Morse Circle will become Academic Way while Williamson Drive will be renamed
Evergreen Drive.
The new names bring new addresses for the following buildings:
Housing Office - 10 Academic Way
McConnell Hall - 15 Academic Way
Horton Hall - 20 Academic Way
Parsons Hall - 23 Academic Way
Paul Creative Arts Center- 30 Academic Way
Kingsbury Hall - 33 Academic Way

Juried Art Exhibit for UNH Staff and Faculty
The University Museum in Dimond Library announces a campus-wide staff arts
and fine crafts exhibition, “In the Company of Artists: Art and Fine
Crafts by UNH Staff” Sept. 26 through Dec. 5. Original art and fine crafts
in any media will be considered.
The deadline for entries is July 18. All full and part-time faculty and staff
(with the exception of studio arts faculty who have opportunities to exhibit
their work in the University Art Gallery) are eligible.
The number of works that can be exhibited is limited. Applicants may submit

Massage Away Summer Heat
Health Services will offer discounted 50-minute traditional massage therapy
with licensed massage therapists during summer break. $45/faculty and staff;
$35/students.

Summer Fitness
Visit http://www.unh.edu/hr/pod/pdfs/CampusRec_Jun08_schedule.pdf for the
summer fitness programs being offered by Campus Recreation. Many of the June
classes are free to Hamel Recreation Center members. Non-members can pay a
daily guest fee of $5 to enter the building/outdoor pool and then take the
classes for free. On July 1, the fee goes to $10.

Eating On Campus - Summer Hours
Holloway Commons will be open Monday – Friday from
6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The MUB food court (Union Court) and Zeke’s Café in the Dimond
Library will be open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Lactation Room Available
Dimond Library and the UNH President’s Commission on the Status of
Women would like to call attention to a lactation room that is available
in Dimond Library. This private room contains a hospital-grade Medela breast
pump, a gliding rocker, a refrigerator, and soft music. The room is designed
for nursing and milk expression. A key can be checked out at the main circulation
desk of the library. Please contact Pam Lehman at 2-1512 or the commission
office at 2-1058 for more information.
