Dairy Bar and Train Station Opening Aug. 11
The Dairy Bar and train station will reopen for business Monday, Aug. 11, now that renovations on both are complete. The Dairy Bar will be open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the vestibule for the ticket machine open daily from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. New hours will be set after Labor Day.
No Phishing
UNH has recently been targeted by phishing scam e-mails attempting to get
employees to reveal personal information such as usernames, passwords, social
security numbers and credit card details to the sender by posing as a trustworthy
entity. Do not respond to these emails. UNH does not and would not request
such information.
Delete any email requesting such information.
$150 Prize for Computer Store Graphic Design Contest
The Computer Store is celebrating its 20th year with a contest that will net
the winner $150 for designing the best graphic depicting the store’s
20th anniversary. The design will be used on T-shirts, posters and other merchandise.
Entries accepted through Aug. 15. Submitted as JPEG files via email to bonnie.thompson@unh.edu.
Reminder: Turn In Your Waiver Forms
If you have not yet turned in your staff waiver forms to Business Services
for the fall undergraduate tuition billing, do so before the August 7 tuition
payment deadline. Forms can be obtained at Human Resources or the Business
Services Office.

The UNH Police Department is holding a bike auction, to include other miscellaneous
items (jewelry, iPods, bags, etc), Saturday, August 23, at 9 a.m. at
the UNH Police Department.

Dining Announces Summer Barbecues on the MUB Patio.
Weather permitting, UNH Dining will be serving a barbecue lunch from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. on the MUB patio (outside Union Court) on August 6. For $5.99, fit
all the burgers, hot dogs, garden burgers, potato salad, pasta salad and watermelon
you can on your plate. Wash it all down with
icy cold lemonade (also included in price).
Same Streets, New Names
To move UNH to E-911 compliance and accommodate future campus growth, two
UNH streets have been renamed as of July 1st. A section of College Road from Mill Road
to Morse Circle has become Academic Way while Williamson Drive has been renamed
Evergreen Drive.
The new names bring new addresses for the following buildings:

McConnell Hall - 15 Academic Way
Horton Hall - 20 Academic Way
Parsons Hall - 23 Academic Way
Paul Creative Arts Center- 30 Academic Way
Kingsbury Hall - 33 Academic Way

Massage Away Summer Heat
Health Services will offer discounted 50-minute traditional massage therapy
with licensed massage therapists during summer break. $45/faculty and staff;

Summer Fitness

the summer fitness programs being offered by Campus Recreation. Many of the

classes are free to Hamel Recreation Center members. Non-members can pay a
daily guest fee of $10 to enter the building/outdoor pool and then take the
classes for free.

Eating On Campus - Summer Hours
Holloway Commons will be open Monday – Friday from
6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The MUB food court (Union Court) and Zeke’s Café in the Dimond
Library will be open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Lactation Room Available
Dimond Library and the UNH President’s Commission on the Status of
Women would like to call attention to a lactation room that is available
in Dimond Library. This private room contains a hospital-grade Medela breast
pump, a gliding rocker, a refrigerator, and soft music. The room is designed
for nursing and milk expression. A key can be checked out at the main circulation
