The UNH woodsmen team, under the tutelage of coach/team alum A.J. Dupere and
assistant coach Chris Robarge, horticultural manager for the Thompson School
of Applied Science, hosted the annual spring meet last week.
Thompson School forest technology professors Don Quigley and Matt Chagnon
served as time-keeper and emcee, respectively. The two are involved with organizing
the sport on the national level.
Twenty-one UNH students participated against 12 schools fielding 31 teams.
The university has competed in woodsmen competitions for 40 years.
