UNH Alum Named Teacher of the Year

Benjamin Adams, a social studies teacher at Salem High School and a UNH Manchester
alumnus, has been named the 2008 New Hampshire Teacher of the Year and New
Hampshire’s candidate for National Teacher of the Year.
A Manchester native, Adams received three degrees from UNH Manchester. He
earned an associate’s degree in general studies in 1992, a Bachelor of
Arts in history in 1995 and a master’s degree in secondary social studies
in 1997.
