The CEO Forum welcomes Felton Brush President Mark Godfrey Thursday, March
22, 2007.
Godfrey will discuss “What Does Leadership Have To Do With It?” The
program begins at 9 a.m. at the New England Center. Coffee and networking
begins at 8 a.m. and a full buffet breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m.
Felton Brush Inc. has survived for more than 150 years by reinventing
itself. Godfrey will present an overview of the last 26 years and how the
company has experienced three major leadership styles, each of which was
necessary at that point in the company’s life. In addition, he will
discuss how the company was transformed from an old-line hierarchical product-focused
manufacturing company to a cross-functionally team-oriented company that
focuses on technology-driven market solutions.
Today employee-owned Felton designs and manufactures highly engineered
products to serve selected industrial market segments, such as automotive,
agriculture machinery and recreational products with sealing, guiding and
surface preparation niche applications.
Godfrey received his bachelor's degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy
and became a pilot and instructor pilot in the C-130 aircraft for the U.S.
Air Force. He joined Felton Brush in 1985 after leaving the military, and
served in various capacities such as production supervisor, operations
manager and general manager before becoming president in January 1997.
