New Director of Dining Appointed

Jon Plodzik, former associate director of dining, has been named director
of the service that generates revenues in excess of $20 million a year and
is one of the most respected student dining services in the country.
Plodzik joined UNH in 1998 after an eight-year career with Marriott management
services where his responsibilities took him throughout New England to a
variety of accounts ranging in size from the large volume Beth Israel-Deaconess
Hospital in Boston, Mass., to the ever-growing Exeter Health Resources in
Exeter.
Many departments on campus have benefited from Plodzik’s seminar “Creating
a Workplace Culture.”
He received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from UNH
and has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years
