There’s new light being shed in T-Hall now.
Even before the $5.3 million renovation project was complete, benefactors
had stepped forward with donations to replace the missing six-panel stained
glass window.
“All six panels are the result of generous donations,” says project
manager Brenda Whitmore.

Each panel cost $7,500.
Donors include:
Shawmut Design and Construction; J. Bonnie Newman in honor of William and
Louise Newman; John H. Lynch (’74) and Dr. Susan A. Lynch, in honor of
Mary Louise Hancock (’42); Holly Peterson Breeden (’73) in honor
of her uncle, Walter R. Peterson; Kaloutas Painting, Haven Restoration, KSD
Custom Wood Products, Structures North-Engineers and Cheviot Corporation.
A bronze plaque will be erected on the first floor recognizing the donors.
“The original stained glass has disappeared. No one knows when or why
it was removed. It sure looks good,” Whitmore says. “It’s
breathtaking in the morning when the east sun hits it.”
