A number of free public lectures and weekly ArtBreak programs are being during
the next two months at the Paul Creative Arts Center. Presentations include:
Wednesday, Jan. 24, noon, Rm A219
Film: Goya – The life and work of Spanish artist Francisco de Goya is
explored.
Wednesday, January 31, noon, The Art Gallery
Concert: Alamire Consort – 16th-century chansons are performed by the
UNH music department’s faculty and staff. Directed by associate professor
Peter Urquhart and professor Robert Stibler.
Wednesday, February 7, noon, Rm. A218, Paul Creative Arts Center
Slide Lecture: Sculptor John M. Weidman discusses his work.
Wednesday, February 14, noon, The Art Gallery
Performance/Discussion: Excerpts from a new Punk/Metal adaptation of Sophocles' “Electra” is
presented by members of the UNH department of theatre and dance.
Adapter/director and associate professor David Kaye discusses “The Greek
Trilogy Project,” a collaborative series of plays being presented with
Keene State College and Plymouth State University.
