featured on NH Chronicle
The university’s Family Connections Project will be featured
in an episode of N.H. Chronicle on WMUR Channel 9 Tuesday, Oct.
14, at 7:30 p.m. The piece, produced by UNH’s Marquis Walsh,
focuses on a Family Studies/Cooperative Ext. Program that provides
parenting skills to inmates and their families in the Lakes Region
Correctional Facility.
Open enrollment under way
Benefits Open Enrollment began Oct. 1 and runs until Oct 31. The
Benefits Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct 14, in the MUB
Granite State Room.
Reception set for Paiton
Friends of Barbara Paiton, director of housing, are invited to a
retirement reception Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the
Champlain Room of the NEC. Paiton retired Sept. 30, after 23 years
at UNH.

will recognize community leaders
UNH students wish to recognize the efforts of those who
help foster rich and strong communities in the state by presenting
the first-ever University of New Hampshire Community Leader of the
Year Award. The award will be presented at a black tie banquet and
ball Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, in UNH’s new Holloway Commons.

Public
forum set on draft of Campus Master Plan
UNH will hold a public forum Thursday, Oct. 16,
from 12:30 to 2 p.m., in the Memorial Union Building Theatre II, to
discuss with the university and Durham communities the progress of
the Campus Master Plan update process. Consultants Ayers/Saint/Gross
and campus planning staff will present the draft Campus Master Plan.
Members of the UNH and Durham communities are encouraged to attend.
