Marine Docent Program is seeking volunteers The Marine Docent Program needs volunteers who love the ocean and want to help others learn about it. No prior experience is required. New docents attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in September, and are educated by university faculty, extension educators and other experts in the marine field. Articles, exams, class notes and other documents are scanned using Adobe Acrobat, with the .pdf files placed on the library server. Faculty then can link to them via their Blackboard page.
