There is an active Graduate Program in M.E. with a wide range of research interests and research projects. Several of the M.E. faculty are also involved in the Ocean Engineering and Materials Science Graduate Programs, which allow for many opportunities in interdisciplinary study.

Typical concentrations are in fluid dynamics, materials science, solid mechanics, systems modeling, electromechanical design, controls, and manufacturing.

An accelerated B.S./M.S. option allows students to combine their undergraduate and graduate work to obtain an advanced degree in a condensed timeframe.  UNH students can apply for early admission to the UNH Graduate School during their senior year. Students who apply are required to have a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average. Early admission allows students to receive dual graduate credit for three 700 level CEPS courses (up to 12 credits) taken for their senior year. For more information, the students should contact the Graduate Program coordinator Prof. Yannis Korkolis and go to the Graduate School website.
