FITSI 2012!
The Faculty Instructional Technology Summer Institute (FITSI) is a weeklong, hands-on learning experience that takes place each year on the Durham campus. A limited number of faculty and instructors in full-time, permanent teaching positions are chosen to participate.
FITSI 2012 Focus: Teaching Online
Are you curious about teaching online? FITSI 2012 will delve into the tools and technologies, strategies and pedagogies that are unique to teaching in the online environment. Don't miss this chance to explore new technology-–based teaching strategies, talk to colleagues from other disciplines about teaching online, participate in hands-–on workshops, and get a head start in developing your online course!
FITSI 2012 is scheduled for Monday, June 11th through Friday, June 15th.
You are a good candidate for FITSI 2012 if you:
- Want to explore technologies that support online teaching and learning
- Will teach an online course in AY 2012-2013 that you want to start developing
- Are full-time, permanent faculty, lecturer, senior lecturer, or a librarian at UNH Durham or Manchester
