Students who lived in On-Campus Apartments prior to Exchangearrow

I lived in Woodside or Gables immediately prior to going on exchange and will be returning to UNH Housing for the fall semester.

If you submit the Intent to Return form online via your Blackboard account (Webcat/Services tab > Housing Online > Assignments/Forms) prior to your exchange, and indicate that you will be returning to campus housing for the fall semester, Housing will send an e-mail to your UNH email address in mid-February detailing the online housing reapplication process and giving you instructions on how to pay your housing deposit through Blackboard.  Once you have done those two things, you will be able to participate in the online Apartment process the same way as any on-campus residents would!  Students who lived in the on-campus apartments immediately prior to exchange are not eligible to be assigned to the residence halls upon return.

Because Housing will only communicate with you via your UNH email address, it is vital that you check it regularly during your exchange program so that you do not miss any important information or deadlines.

I lived in Woodside or Gables immediately prior to going on exchange and will be returning to UNH Housing for the spring semester.

If you submit thethe Intent to Return form online via your Blackboard account (Webcat/Services tab > Housing Online > Assignments/Forms) prior to your exchange, and indicate that you will be returning to campus housing for the spring semester, you will be emailed a Returning Exchange Housing Agreement Form in late October. The Returning Exchange Housing Agreement Form will provide space for you to tell us more about your housing and roommate/apartment-mate preferences and must be returned to Housing, along with a non-refundable housing deposit by the deadline stated in the email. This form will be sent to your UNH email address. Because a deposit is required, you may choose to forward the information to your family so they will be prepared to assist you if need be.

Once you have returned your signed Returning Exchange Housing Agreement Form and paid your housing deposit, Housing staff will work to assign you based on the preferences you submit – we cannot guarantee any specific assignment but are anxious to provide you with the best match that is possible. Some assignment options require additional paperwork and our staff will let you know if that is the case (again, via email, so check it regularly!).

Final assignments are typically available no later than one week prior to the start of the spring semester.
