I have formed or joined a Housing Sign-Up Group. See detailed instructions here.

CheckMark

I've read about the Online Apartment Housing Sign-Up process and marked my calendar to participate on the appropriate days.

Once your apartment sign-up group is formed, please designate a Group Captain who will represent your group; this is the person who will guide your group through the online housing sign-up process, and who make the decisions regarding your group's assignment. Remember, your group captain DOES NOT need to be the person with the lowest priority number, your group captain needs to be the person who your group can rely upon to sign-up the group at the appropriate time and make the correct choices.

Look on the chart below to find out when your group will participate in the online Housing Sign-Up process. Remember, to successfully assign a group to an apartment, the group must "fill" the apartment.

Your group's specific time to sign up will be available to the Group Captain within 24 hours after forming your group. The group sign-up time is based on the lowest number of any group member. For example, if you have a three person group with the priority numbers: 856, 1042, and 51, the group's priority number will be 51.

Before your group actually enters the sign-up process, your group captain will be able to view which apartments are available that match your group's size. At your group's particular sign-up time, your group captain will enter the sign-up process and select from available apartments. Squatter groups will only be able to pick from apartments that are currently occupied by group members. Depending on what is available at your sign-up time based on your group's priority number, your group may or may not be able to select an apartment. If your group doesn't get an apartment, you may reconfigure your group and try for a different style/size apartment at a later time.
