CIS Unix Telnet Instructions

1. To open a Telnet connection to your UNH e-mail, click on the Telnet link below or copy and paste the address into your browser's address bar:
   
   telnet://cisunix.unh.edu
   
   If this link does not work, you do not have a telnet program on your computer. Visit http://www.unh.edu/tech-services/download.html to download the QVT Term Plus 5.0.8 Telnet application for your operating system.



2. At the login prompt, enter your username and press Enter.



3. At the password prompt, enter your password and press Enter. For security purposes, you will not see your password as you type.

If login is not successful the login prompt will appear again. Check the spelling of your login name and password.

Once you are logged in sucessfully, you may see the CISUNIX Message of the Day, or be brought directly to the CIS Unix Menu.
