StressEraser Program

The StressEraser is a small portable FDA regulated biofeedback device, about the size of a deck of cards, used by many people to mitigate stress by activating the relaxation response. Guiding the user through a series of simple breathing exercises, relaxation can occur within 15 minutes, calming the mind and relaxing the body. We invite you to join us as we explore ways to become free from chronic stress, relieve worry, and gain a greater ability to cultivate emotional well-being. UNH Slow Food

Slow Food at the University of New Hampshire is a collective effort to educate students, faculty, and the local Durham community about the production, consumption, and enjoyment of foods that are Good to the senses, Clean for the environment, and sold through Fair practices that support local economies. This student-lead group has also joined on with the the national Real Food Challenge and their Get REal! Campaign. They are working with student groups across the board including Oxfam, Sierra Student Coalition, 350.org and more.

Organic Garden Club

The UNH Organic Garden Club (OGC) is a student-run organization established in 2003. OGC is part of the Food & Society Initiative of the UNH Sustainability Academy, which seeks to create a sustainable food system at UNH and to integrate issues of sustainable food and agriculture into the curriculum, operations, research, and engagement efforts at the University. OGC maintains a two-acre farm on the Campus-Community Farm, a 30-acre USDA certified organic site.
