Radiology

Health Services Radiology Department performs most standard diagnostic x-rays.  All x-rays take at Health Services are reviewed by a local Radiologist. An x-ray order from  a Health Services Medical Clinician,  Employee Clinic Medical Clinician  or off-campus heatlhcare provider is required before scheduling any x-rays.

Primary Care Services

Primary care services (examples  include respiratory illnesses, all kinds of injuries, mental health concerns, intestinal disorders, dermatologic issues and much more) are offered at no additional cost to students who have paid the health fee. For a fee, primary care visits are available to students who have not paid the health fee. Acute care medical services are available to all employees for a fee at the Employee Clinic. Additional fees apply for laboratory, injections, pharmacy, and radiology services.

Pharmacy

Health Services has prescriptions medications and limited non-prescription medications(at reduced cost compared to local retailers) available for a fee for students. UNH employees can access the Pharmacy in conjunction with acute care visits.  Many low cost generic prescriptions are available for $5.  Faculty and staff can use their flexible spending account (FSA) to cover co-payments.

Nutrition Counseling

A nutrition counselor (registered and licensed dietician) is available for consultation on nutrition issues, medical nutrition, eating concerns, and special diets. Peer education and cooking classes are also available. Education and information are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee.

Men's Health

Men's Health offers clinical services, counseling, education, programs, and resources on various topics pertaining men's health and wellness. Education and information is free for the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee. Meditation

Meditation is an experience of relaxing the body, quieting the mind, and awakening the spirit. Walk-in group meditation sessions are offered  to the UNH community. Appointments to learn how to meditate are available for students. Meditation soundtracks are available to download from the Health Services website.

Massage Therapy

Traditional and hot stone massage, provided by licensed therapists, is available to students, employees and employees dependents.

Prices: Traditional Massage is $40 for students and $50 for employees and their dependents. Hot Stone Massage is $50 for students and $60 for employees and their dependents.

Laboratory

Health Services laboratory providers most standard diagnostic lab tests.  A lab order request from a Health Services Medical Clinician, Employee Clinic Medical Clinician  or off-campus heatlhcare provider is required before any laboratory procedure can be scheduled. There is a fee for lab test.

How to Access:

The Health Services Laboratory Department is located in room 204 of the Health Services Center. To make an appointment, call 862-2856 or by walking in during open hours.

Health Services offers routine and travel immunizations to the UNH community. This service is available by appointment only.

HIV Testing and Counseling

Health Services provides a confidential walk-in HIV counseling/testing clinic for students and employees on Thursdays from 11-2, during the academic year, for $25. Results provided in 20 minutes.

Clinical appointments are also available to students. For students who have paid the health fee, there is no cost in addition to the $25 test fee. There is an appointment cost for students who have not paid the health fee.

Education, Resource Library, and online resources are also available.
