24 Hours a day hotline, to call for help dealing with alcohol and other substance abuse issues. The Center also provides extensive information and resources on their website alcohol, drugs, detoxing, intervention, and addiction help.

Be Tobacco Free

A program created by the National Cancer Insitute, Smokefree.gov offers short and long-term tools and resources to help individuals understand the risks of tobacco and how to help them quit. Smokefree.gov also offers a quitline; trained counselors who can text or talk over the phone about a wide arrange of tobacco and quitting topics.

Organizational Wellness Services

A key to maintaining personal health is maintaining organizational health. A working atmosphere that is cohesive and free of unnecessary tension goes a long way toward lowering stress levels and increasing productivity. Reaching this goal can be as simple as talking through internal changes, or it can require more in-depth team building. Whatever your needs, the USNH Wellness Office can design a program for your group.

A nutrition counselor (registered and licensed dietician) is available for consultation on nutrition issues, medical nutrition, eating concerns, and special diets. Peer education and cooking classes are also available. Education and information are free to the UNH Community. Counseling is available to students who have paid the health fee, at no additional cost. There is a fee for students who have not paid the health fee.

Men's Health offers clinical services, counseling, education, programs, and resources on various topics pertaining men's health and wellness. Education and information is free for the UNH Community. Clinical services are available for students and some services covered by the health fee.

Transgender students and employees will find a safe haven within Health Services.  Basic medical services and referrals to specialists for care available.  Education, a resource library, and online resources are available. Health Services provides information on financial wellness and resources for those seeking assistance with personal finance. The CashCourse website has information on managing finances.  Counseling is available for free to students who have paid the health fee and is available at a cost to students who have not paid the health fee. Eating Concerns Education and Counseling

Health Services provides Nutritional counseling with a registered and licensed dietitian for students struggling with an eating concern and is free for students who have paid the health fee. Support and information for concerned friends and families is also available, including Eating Concerns Mentors, who are UNH students trained to provide support, resources and referral to students struggling with eating concerns/body image issues. A Resource Library is available at Health Services and online resources are also available.

Communicating well with others is essential to our overall well-being and maintaining healthy relationships with others.
