Homecoming weekend is right around the corner, which means fall weather, school spirit, a football game, and of course a 5k road race to start it all off! The race begins at 9am on Saturday, October 11th above the train tracks in front of the Whittemore Center. Coordinated by Campus Rec, the 5k has been a highlight of homecoming for many community members over the years. Campus Rec has a map posted online tracing the running route so you know what to expect.

Getting our daily dosage of physical activity is extremely important; providing countless health benefits, ranging from disease prevention to positive mental health. Regardless of how important it is, it can be very challenging for people to find a form of physical activity that really works for them.
