Health Services wants you to have great safer sex!

Hookups, Friends with Benefits, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Partner…whatever the case, protect yourself from STIs, wear a glove if you are going to love!

FREE Condoms (latex, polyurethane, insertive), dental dams, and lubricant available at Health Services, Room 249.

Abstinence is the only 100% way to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections.

Did you Know:

20-25% of college students in the U.S. have either been infected with a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) or transmitted an STI to their sex partner(s).

  • Each year, there are 9 million new STI cases in the U.S. in people under the age of 25
  • Two-thirds of individuals with an STI are under the age of 25
  • HPV is the most common STI on college campuses
  • Chlamydia is the 2nd most common STI on college campuses
  • Herpes is the 3rd most common STI on college campuses
  • No symptoms is the most common symptom of an STI
  • Some STIs are treatable and curable and some are not
  • Less than half of adults ages 18-44 have been tested for an STI, other than HIV/AIDS
  • Having an STI is not a moral issue. Don't let shame or embarrassment get in the way of getting treatment
  • Preventing most STI's is a lot easier than treating most STI’s
