Dial 911 for all emergencies. There is no need to dial a 9 from university telephones.

UNH Alert is a system that allows students, faculty, staff, and parents to receive a text message in the event of an emergency. These brief messages can be sent to:

• E-mail (school, personal, other)
• Cell phone
• Pager
• BlackBerry/Treo

A mass notification system donated by a UNH alumnus has been installed on campus. In the event of an emergency, sirens will sound followed by a verbal message.
