The Bicycle Coalition of Maine, Maine’s largest bike advocacy organization, is launching BikeMaine, a week long, 400 mile mass bicycle ride around Maine set to begin in September 2013.   BikeMaine, designed to be “a rolling celebration of Maine,” will use a different cycle route each September to explore the inland and coastal regions of the state, with riders camping in a designated host community each of 7 nights.   The host communities will prepare breakfast and dinners for the riders, using in-season, locally sourced food.   

BikeMaine seeks an experienced Food Coordinator to oversee the planning, sourcing, preparing and serving of 18 meals over 8 days for 375-400 hungry people.
