Program Coordinator for Seacoast Eat Local’s
SNAP/EBT at Farmers’ Markets Program
Seacoast Eat Local’s SNAP/EBT at Farmers’ Market program provides the
opportunity for recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
to use their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards at five area farmers’ markets:
Dover, Exeter, and Portsmouth in the summer season (in partnership with Seacoast
Growers Association, the market organizers), and at Seacoast Eat Local’s winter
markets in Exeter and Rollinsford.

Penrith Farms is an emotional growth program for young adults located three miles outside Newport, WA.  Penrith Farms was originally started as a foster care program for the state of Washington in 1981.  In 2001, Penrith Farms switched to working with young adults over the age of 18.  Included on the farm is a Greenhouse that operates year round with a fenced in Garden area approximately one acre in size.  Near the Greenhouse is a five acre enclosed area for planting.

About Our Farm: Applecrest is a 100+ acre diversified fruit and veggie farm located in Hampton Falls, NH.  In addition to an on-site retail farm stand, the farm operates a one-hundred member Community Supported Agriculture
