1.      Southern Boone Learning Garden Activity VISTA
The Learning Garden Activity Coordinator will serve in Ashland, Missouri (just
south of Columbia) with the Southern Boone Learning Garden working on the

Island Grown Schools, the farm to school program on Martha’s Vineyard, seeks a school garden educator to work alongside our school coordinators in an internship program, from mid-August 2013 through late June 2014.  We work with all seven K-12 schools in our community.

The intern will work in a supporting role with our staff members and independently.  Responsibilities will include:

•             Leading in-class lessons for children of all ages, with a focus on K-8

The Massachusetts Farm to School Project is seeking an intern to support a new
initiative called Massachusetts Harvest of the Month. Harvest of the Month is
a program to promote local foods in schools and colleges throughout
Massachusetts through outreach and education around a series of specific

The research assistant position will be centered around organization, research, data collection/recording. Due to the diversity of the projects, and functions of the lab this person will be primarily responsible for academic research, organization, logging and archiving.

PAID Sponsorship/Media Internship with Eat Real Festival in Oakland, CA

Scope of Services: 4 Months - June 1, 2013 – September 30, 2013 The Eat Real Festival Sponsorship/Media Intern is responsible for Outreach, Media and supporting the Sponsorship Team of the Eat Real Festival (ERF), a multi-day food festival (Sept 27 – 29, 2013 in Oakland, CA).

This is full-time internship with freelance hours that is compensated with a monthly stipend of $750.
