Cricket Creek Farm, a small diversified dairy producing raw milk, artisanal cheeses, pork, beefs and eggs is looking for an Assistant Farm Manager (AFM).

The AFM will work with the General Farm Manager on all areas of the farm including managing rotational grazing, making hay, cow health and breeding, swine and poultry management, apprentice management, equipment maintenance, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct literature review, design on-farm projects, analyze data, write and edit reports for Practical Farmers’ onfarm research

• Manage the PFI Cooperators' Program, including leading the priority setting process, overseeing meeting arrangements, and conducting evaluation efforts on our effectiveness

• Lead field sampling for research and demonstration projects*

• Administer grants, follow up with partners and subcontractors, meet program deliverables, write grant reports
