The International Affairs dual major

Do you want to have a career in the international arena? Consider the International Affairs dual major (IA), which will enable you to combine the interdisciplinary study of international affairs with any other major on campus. Visit the dual major page to see the many ways in which our students are internationally engaged!

Study & Exchanges Abroad

From Denmark to South Africa, New Zealand to Jordan, growing numbers of UNH students are learning first hand about other cultures. CIE will provide you with the direction and expertise you need to arrange for an exciting summer, semester or year of study abroad, either through UNH’s own programs or through UNH-approved programs sponsored by other providers.

UNH hosts incoming students from designated exchange institutions in Scotland ( Heriot-Watt University), Canada (20 institutions in Quebec and Nova Scotia), England ( Lancaster University), and The Netherlands ( Utrecht University). In exchange, outgoing UNH students attend classes at our partner institutions.

UNH Area Studies Programs

UNH Area Studies Programs

UNH offers an array of concentrations in areas encompassing the globe. Programs examine cultural, political and economic influences specific to that region. Majors and minors offered complement the International Affairs Dual Major and/or a major (or minor) in a language of that region.
