International Affairs Dual Major

IA class of 2013 wearing the sashes of their country of study

Deepen your international engagement and global competencies with the IA dual major. Take courses in a detailed curriculum and complete an international research project that complements ANY major from UNH’s five academic colleges.

Knowledgeable advisors work one-on-one with students to craft an individualized plan of study. This strong advising component enables students to map out opportunities for an international experience in a region where the language they are studying is spoken.

Inter-disciplinary IA courses are taught by faculty from many different colleges and fields of expertise. The courses are designed to help students appreciate the complex interrelationships and interdependencies among nations and peoples.  The IA program will equip students with the analytical skills and broad perspectives necessary for public and private sector careers, both domestic and international.

Meet our Graduates!  Pictured above is the IA 2013 graduating class on the steps of Huddleston Hall after the IA luncheon.  This vibrant event,  held in April each year, celebrates the students' four years of global engagement.
