Striffolino works on emerging developments and armed conflicts globally, with an emphasis on leveraging innovative tools and technologies for human rights protection. She also educates and advocates with policy makers in the U.S. and abroad to ensure that policies, programs and practices adhere to international human rights and humanitarian law, and writes a blog on these issues.  Previously at Amnesty, Striffolino coordinated U.S.-Latin America/Caribbean human rights policy and advocacy initiatives, and worked with the Science for Human Rights Project, which utilizes new technologies to document human rights abuses around the world. She has led human rights trainings in Haiti, Kenya, Uganda and the UK.
