                   COMMUTERS:  PLEASE GO TO PARKING SERVICES TO PURCHASE A PARKING PASS PRIOR TO COMING TO ORIENTATION. You will need your driver’s license with you and proof of an off-campus address. You will park in A Lot and walk across campus to Parsons Hall. See campus map for parking and building locations.

Orientation Begins: General Meeting for new students with Graduate Coordinator, Prof. Rudi Seitz. Department welcome, Administrative orientation, Chem 800 course introduction and Assignment, etc.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training for Ph.D. Students.  For more information: http://gradschool.unh.edu/rcr.php 
Note: Most Ph.D. students complete the 11 web-based modules and attend the RCR Training session scheduled.

  Fire Extinguisher Training will be scheduled with Environmental Healthy & Safety (EH&S). Cindi Rohwer, Mrg. will send you an email for sessions available.  It is mandatory to sign up for one session.
   

Lab Safety and on-line Hazardous Waste training will be scheduled with EH&S. Cindi Rohwer will send them your UNH email address and they will set you up for access via Blackboard. Hazardous Waste Training must be completed within 2 weeks of email notification by EH&S.
