ANNUAL DEPARTMENT PIE CONTEST – Pies due in by 10 am, Judging before noon. Pie sales at noon and proceeds go towards the Holiday Party. Prizes and Bragging rights for the winners!
Friday, November 22, 2013 - Scheduling for Research Progress Reports begins for Second Year MS Graduate Students by Cindi Rohwer with your committee. Your report date and time will be determined and emailed to you. Your outline should be in to your advisor at least 2 weeks prior to your report date.

Monday, December 25, 2013 - UNH Closes for Winter Break through January 2, 2014 • Winter break, University holidays, offices closed. If you choose to research in Parsons during this time, please be advised that the building will be colder due to energy savings over the break.
No Organic Comprehensive Exam in December.
Spring 2014 - Semester II
Wednesday, January 15, 2014 – Second Year Ph.D. students submit an OUTLINE of their research progress report to their advisor (see Grad Handbook at www.unh.edu/chemistry for details).
Friday, January 31, 2014, 1:30 p.m. Pre-cume. Room W213 Parsons (organic conference room).
Friday, February 14, 2014 - All Second Year Ph.D. students are to submit a fuller version of their research progress report to their advisor for review.
Saturday, February 22, 2014 Organic Comprehensive Exam 9 a.m. Room W131 Parsons
Friday, February 28, 2014 – Scheduling begins for Second Year Ph.D. student research progress reports by Cindi Rohwer with your committee. Your report date and time will be determined and emailed to you. Your outline should be in to your advisor at least 2 weeks prior to your report date.
Third Year Ph.D. students begin to coordinate their research proposal defense dates with their committee members. Please apprise Cindi Rohwer of set date and time so she can schedule a room for you.
