Research Interests: 
  • Research interests include diagnostic sensors, sensor development (design and testing), surface chemistry, sensor development, drug delivery, and electrochemistry.
  • Experienced in developing, evaluating, and improving materials for biomedical applications.
  • The goal of Prof. Halpern’s laboratory is to develop new point-of-use diagnostic tools by modifying the surface chemistry of electrochemical sensors.
