4th Annual Peeps Contest Winners

The creative Peep-ole have done it again.

Using marshmallow Peeps, those candy treats that bloom around Easter, they’ve come up with really clever ways to show what being healthy means to them by creating dioramas for Health Services’ 4th Annual Peeps Contest.

The 11 entries garnered more than 300 votes.

This year’s winners in the individual category are:

1st Place: Kristin Onos, graduate student -- “Peeps on Mendums Pond”

2nd place: Kristin Blackwell, staff, chemistry department --, “Little Blue Peep’s Sustainable Farm”

3rd place: Judith Quist, staff, Dimond Library -- “Wellness Avengers”


The group winners are:

1st place: SHARPP -- “Welcome to the Wellness Wheel”

2nd place: Occupational therapy 610 students Celena Zucco, Risa LePera, Abbey Crowther, Hieu Nguyen -- “Pumped Up Peeps”

For their efforts, Onos and Blackwell won Amazon cards, (worth $125 and $75 respectively) while Quist received a massage gift certificate to Health Services valued at $55.

SHARPP won a pizza party for their group; the occupational therapy students won a private yoga class.
