Take a Peep at Health: 4th Annual Peeps Contest

Take a Peep at Health: 4th Annual Peeps Contest

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

It’s time to show your health.

The annual Peeps competition at Health Services is a fun way to let the world know what being healthy means to you. And, if your entry wins, you’ll get a great prize.

All you need to do is create a diorama made from marshmallow Peeps that has the popular candy participating in some type of healthy activity. Go it alone or get a team together. The only rule is that all the key players in the diorama have to be made from Peeps. Other candies can be used as props or accessories.

Entries due by midnight April 14.

Past submissions have had Peeps dancing to a whirling disco ball, practicing yoga, lifting weights, canoeing (in a Twinkie canoe), riding bikes, and playing wheelchair basketball. There dioramas showing that it’s healthy to relax, with Peeps at the beach, and just hanging out with their—sorry, I can’t stop myself—peeps.

Health Services will provide the supplies while they last; pick them up in room 249, (Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.). Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the contest.

Vote for your favorite entry at the “Live Peeps Show” at Health Services April 16, from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., and April 17, from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Or vote online at http://www.unh.edu/health-services/peeps where you also will find contest rules.
